1.
Ruffle
Shrug/Vest : This
DIY is an absolute saviour when you want
to add a lil texture/print to your outfit or want more coverage . Plus it’s so
so easy to make .
YOU’LL NEED: A Scarf .
Get Making :
·
Fold the scarf into half horizontally
·
Tie the top left and right ends of the scarf .
·
Make a double knot to secure .
·
Unfold the scarf to look like this .
·
The two openings will serves as arm holes .
·
And you are done ! Go flaunting your new DIY
ruffle vest .
2.
Tote
Bag : If you are in India right now you must be aware of the
whole plastic ban and shopping gets irritating when they cost you for the
shopping bags . Here is a uber easy way to make your own tote bag and carry
along when you go shopping and save those extra bucks .
YOU’LL NEED :
Get Making :
·
Cut the sleeves and neck line . To get an even
cut fold the shirt horizontally and cut the sleeves together .
·
Place a book to mark the depth of the bag .
·
Cut fringes up to the mark made .
·
Knot the front and back fringes . Double knot to
secure .
·
And you are done!
·
If you are not a fan of fringes flip the bag
inside out .
·
The tee I choose was rather plain so I painted a
quote on it .
3.
Kimono/Shrug
: This is the perfect way to re-purpose your Kurtis which you
no longer wear or go a lil small for you .
YOU’LL NEED :
Get Making :
·
Mark a line from the center down .You can either
use a marker to do so or just eye it down.
·
Cut along the line . Cut off any beads or embellishments to get an easier cut
·
Now, Hem the edges by folding the cloth on the
inside using a fabric glue . If you know stitching you can do that as well.
·
That’s It !!
It takes literally two minutes
to make this and can be paired with any plain outfit to add that pop of color or
ethnic touch .
Hope ya’ll liked these hacks
and if you recreate any do tag me in your posts ( @kyriasabah)
Until next time
Polý agape (lots of love) and stay cheerful :)
