HEY HEY HEY! I AM WRITING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM CLEARLY EXCITED.
From the time I became a part of the blogger community I wanted to connect with as many people as I can and not only build my network but support and love on as many sweet faces as I can in the process.
I had been dreaming of hosting a blogger brunch for local influencers and bloggers for quite some time and my dream finally came to fruition last weekend. We need a tribe or sorts or a squad of women that will support and encourage each other. Plus I love making new friends whether it’s in the virtual world or in the human flesh world (ha-ha XP).
I thought of Blogger Brunch’18 event in an attempt to bring in together some of the coolest girls on the internet to meet in real life. Most digital influencers are always doing things on their phone, behind the screens and don’t really get a chance to actually connect in person and hang out. So, this event would be the perfect opportunity to learn from each other and improve our game. I am big believer of cool things happen when you bring interesting women together and that is what I was aiming for.
The brunch took a lot of preparation and started with me picking a date and a location. I wanted the date to be as soon as possible because I just couldn’t wait. Also it had to be a Sunday so that everyone is free. I started looking for locations and spoke to a bunch of places. Finally, Giselle resto cafe was kind enough to reserve a table for us and hook us up with complimentary drinks.
It was so much fun making the poster and sending out invites. Only till I learnt that the day I picked was the day of Ugadi (the Hindu New Year) and many people couldn’t make it. However I still managed to get a decent crowd. Plus I wanted a small crowd so that everyone actually speaks to everyone and networks.
The Brunch was scheduled from 12 pm but, people actually poured in from 1:00. It was so much fun clicking pictures and boomerangs. We all played a small ice breaker and got to know each other better. The food was DELICIOUS and I made small cupcake treats as a token of gratitude. All in all it was a success and I loved that we all got together so well.

To many more!
Until next time

I reached home earlier this week to find an elegant Women’s Leather Wallet from Urby waiting for me. I would say it arrived in perfect timing as my old wallet had started eyeing it’s doomsday. I was given the option to choose from an array of wallets ranging from coin purses, card holders, fordable purses and more. I usually carry around sling bags and wanted a small purse to fit in.

One thing I LOVE about Urby is the amount of attention they put into packaging in order to deliver you the best quality. The wallet came encased in a drawstring bag which is further stored in a box for protection.

The only drawback about online shopping is that the color or the quality doesn’t come as promised on the website. Urby combats that issue as well. The color and quality isn’t compromised at all. The wallet came personalized with my name embossed on it. It sure looks as premium as they promised it would. Plus the fresh smell of leather adds to the feeling of holding something first-class in hand.

Specifications:

·                     Fold over front with snap button loop closure.

·                     Top gusseted pocket with snap button closure. Customization available. You                  can get your name embossed on the wallet.

·                     One Main Interior currency pocket.

·                     Six credit card slots.

·                     Hand turned edges for long life.

·                     Rich poly jacquard interior for slim finish.

·                     Handmade in premium leather by skilled craftsmen.

·                     Comes encased in a drawstring bag for protection
.

Check out their collection women's wallets and men's wallets.

Until next time

Hello Guys

Today’s post is all about my skin care routine. I have never paid much heed to my skin; I seldom used moisturizer and sunscreen. Over the years and with the repetitive breakouts I realized how much I was being negligent and finally decided to get involved into a skincare regime.

DAYTIME

Face wash: I had given up on face wash click here to know why. But, I came across this face wash and the fact that it promised no parabens and chemicals made me give it a try. Have been using it for a month now and absolutely love how light it is on the skin and is an everyday pollution defense face wash. It is suitable for all skin types.

Moisturizer:  Cannot believe I used to skip this step and go on directly with my CC cream earlier. Moisturizing is key. It provides with all the hydration and allows the foundation/BB/CC cream to glide on well. I use the Olay day moisturizing cream. Very basic nothing fancy shancy about it. Does the job pretty well and keeps my skin baby soft.

Sunscreen: An everyday essential to battle the harsh sun and pollution. However you need to reapply this every two to three hours. The one I use has a slight tint and a great SPF so, I ditched my CC cream: P

Lip balm: Got this one with the pox xo beauty box and am in love ever since. This is a non tinted lip balm and is very nourishing. Specially wearing this under matte lipsticks keeps the lips hydrated and doesn’t give that dry feel.

NIGHT TIME

Frankly my night time routine was ‘wash your face and get to bed’. Until I learned how much your skin and repair overnight and taking care of it then leads up to glowly-ness ( best way to describe).

Face oil: FANCY? YES. I only saw face oils in makeup videos and never saw myself using one. However suhait essentials “flawless skin” was sent to me and I gave it a try. BEST DECISION EVER. Rub it on your face before you go to sleep and trust me it is the most relaxing thing ever. The lavender oil helps you sleep well white tea tree oil, vitamin E work their magic.

Hand cream:  A very fruity , non-greasy hand cream. Keeps you hand soft and pleasant smelling.

Until next time
