Hello Folks

I came across this while browsing on the net and wanted to share with you people.

WHO you are is what makes you special. Don't change for anyone.
I’ve learned throughout the past few years that people are going to try to bring               you down, and some are going to try to change you, but you have to remember that you each have something very unique about you, and despite the opinions of others, that’s what sets you apart and makes you special. You’re not going to please everyone, so do not change for anyone. Be yourself, and let the ones that have a problem with you deal with it.

WHAT lies ahead will always be a mystery. Do not be afraid to explore.
I hear people say all the time that they are scared to death of what the future has in store for them. They’re scared of being alone, not finding a job, not being successful, and much more. I don’t let it hold me back. Instead, I continue pressing on toward my goal for the next year. Never knowing how things will turn out until I give them a try.

WHEN life pushes you over, you push back harder.
We are all human beings, nobody’s perfect, and we are going to fail at some point in our lives. However, it’s how we react to the failure that shows our true character. When things don’t go our way, and life pushes us over, we must push back harder, knowing that everything happens for a reason and the best is yet to come. Don’t give up, and have faith in knowing that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.

WHERE there are choices to make, make the ones you won’t regret.
There are four human elements that make a good choice good. These elements include your emotions, yourself, a vision, and your surroundings. The choices you make must fit in with your positive emotions and avoid negative ones. Your choices must also match who you are as a person. By having a vision when making the right choices, you must make sure that your choices are in accordance with your long-term goals. Lastly, you must pay attention to your surroundings and make sure your choices are compatible with the situation you find yourself in. If you put these four elements into consideration when making choices, you’ll be more likely to make the right ones.

WHY things happen will never be certain. Take it in stride and move forward.
Nobody will ever understand why bad things happen. I am a firm believer of the saying, “Everything happens for a reason.” Even though we sometimes don’t understand what the reasoning could possibly be, we have to have faith in knowing that it did happen for a reason and everything will work out the way it’s supposed to be. Even though it’s hard to understand why bad things happen, such as heartbreak, death, illnesses, and much more, we most move forward in life and not dwell on the things we can’t change. If you experience heartbreak, have faith in knowing there’s somebody else out there that’s better for you. If you lose a loved one, find comfort in knowing that you will see them again one day.

I hope you all enjoy reading about how I think we can apply the five W’s to our lives. Think about how they apply to yours, and how you can enjoy life even more while putting these five W’s of life into perspective.

Until next time

Hey Hey ! A blog post after long .

I have been posting really cool tutorials on my IGTV for the past three weeks. CLICK HERE  to have a look.
I absolutely love DIY projects that transform utilitarian everyday objects into unexpected works of art. Not only do these become fantastic conversation pieces in your home, they also allow you to create super budget-friendly art that doesn’t feel too “crafty.” And most of all, it just looks freaking awesome and oh so mid-century-modern-Mad-Men-ish up on the wall.
I was thinking about additional three dimensional art pieces I could DIY. I wanted something that would add texture, warmth and angles.

LEGGO

You’ll need:

Popsicle sticks (I used 200 for three frames), glue gun, spray paint/paint, hexagonal stencil.
Step 1 : Print out a hexagonal stencil or make one yourself using a compass.
Measure the length of your popsicle sticks and draw this flower pattern. Join the end of the petals to create a hexagon. This step is just to make sure all your hexagons are similar.

Step 2: Tape your top and bottom sticks on to the sheet to avoid drifting. Once the shelf is made, the tapes can be removed easily.

Step 3: Use a glue gun to glue both the ends of each Popsicle firmly. Keep stacking till you attain the depth you desire.

Step 4: Spray paint/ paint to your liking.

Step 5: Hang the shelves up with the support of nails/hooks.

Step 6: Place any cute decor piece in the shelves.

There you go, you’ve got yourself a super

Until next time

HELLO Hello

I am hoarder and I can’t let go of things easily . After my long vacay , I came back to a wardrobe full of clothes and needed to make space for my new ones. Whilst sorting I thought I should go through the stuff and do a declutter. It was super hard for me but, here is how I managed to get through and you can too.

STEP 1:

Empty cupboards\ drawers onto the ground.
This gives an all-encompassing view of all the stuff you’ve been hoarding. This step will let  you mind map all the stuff you want to continue having and things you don’t.

STEP2 :

Divide all contents into categories.
Separate into piles; shoes, shirts, skirts, pants, scarves, socks and however you want to sort . this aloows you to decide easily where to station them .

STEP3:

Apply the one year rule.

Be 100% real with yourself. Recruit a friend for support if you have difficulty letting go.You haven’t reached for something in an year ? kiss it bye!

STEP 4:

Invest in organization

It’s time to adult. We’re talking thinner hangers, fabric boxes and clothing hampers. Having a place for everything= cleaner room with less effort to keep it that way. Basically when everything has a box it is automatically cleaner and so much more easier to locate.

STEP 5:

Divide things you are getting rid of

-          TOSS : worn out, damaged or stained items.
-          DONATE: wearable items with a decent resale value.

There you go! This should help you get decluttered and organized super-fast. I kept this post super short and crisp so that it is relatable. Hope you guys found it helpful.

Until next time

Hellloooooo  Kyfam

So long!

So, I am back after the massive break I took. Honestly it is so refreshing and unwinding. While on the break I had put up a insta story letting you guys know that I was going to do an Q&A. If I sat down to answer each one of them it would be a super long post. So, here are few of the most asked questions.

Leggo...

1.      Which  phone photo editor to do use ?
I use VSCO and light room mostly. However I’ve recently learned to use the                                      basic I phone editor and it works pretty damn well.

2.     Which foundation do you use?
On a regular basis I use the Lakme CC crème. If I have to use a foundation I                                         use the MAC studio finish.

3.     Pineapple on Pizza v/s Avacado on pizza?
             Pineapple.

4.     What is your biggest strength?
I think it is the fact that I can let go of things and move on easily. I can’t carr                                        excess baggage.

5.     How do you manage to be so cheerful and positive all the time?
It is just my way of being I guess. I try to see the good in everything or just let                                   it be. I avoid indulging in unwanted drama ( I try :P).

6.     Science or commerce student?
             Science.

7.     Hometown?
Born in Kuwait, from Andhra Pradesh.

8.     Planning a bloggers meet anytime soon?
I really really want to. If I do visit BLR anytime soon I will host one for sure.

9.     Any plans to come back to Bangalore?
BLR has my heart. I will visit again for sure. Only I have no clue when that is                                      going to be.

10. What is your biggest fear?
             Cats, in a 500m radius.
Living a monotonous life is another fear of mine. I just can’t do the                                                      same things every day. I have to mix things up.

11.   Are you married?
             YESJ . Recently got hitched.

12. What apps do you use for Insta stories?
I use over and phonto for fonts. However I will do a detailed post on this                                               soon InshaAllah.

There you go folks! The most random Q&A ever . I enjoyed writing after long. I have a bunch of ideas in the little head of mine. Stay tuned for more content.

Until next time

Hello Folks !

A  D I Y post after a while. As we are travelling and need to carry our brushes along, Me and @_theartisticside got together to make this super cute, compact and easy brush holder.

 Leggo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’ll need:

Step 1:

Fold the cloth into half vertically and measure if your brushes align properly . Adjust our cloth accordingly.

Step 2:

If you don’t have a long cardboard piece like I do. Then tape them together.

Step 3:

Fold then into minimum 4 sections. These creases help in easy folding.

Step 4:

Iron the cardboard to make the creases fine.

Step 5:

Use a hot glue gun and secure the top of the cloth , keep the sides open to insert the cardboard .

Step 6:

Insert the cardboard from either side .

Step 7:

Place your brushes in order of choice and distance them accordingly. Avoid placing brushes on the folds.

Step 8:

Hot glue the elastic after measuring the width of the brushes ( as they may vary).
Here is a video of this step

VOILA you have a super cute, travel friendly brush holder .

Tag me in your post or DM them to me at @kyriasabah.

Until next time

Hey You Guys !

It’s been so long since I’ve written a BUY or BYE post. Honestly I haven’t really experimented with something new. As soon as I decided to try sheet masks I knew I had to share my views with you guys. I have heard a lot about how good sheet masks are for our face, glow, on and on and on. But, every time I planned to get one, they seemed extremely expensive or unreal.

While strolling through the beauty section at a shopping mart I came across the super affordable sheet mask by Garnier. Here is what I think about it after trying two different tissue masks.

      1.     Green Tea Extract -  hydra bomb tissue mask :

Honestly as I was putting on a sheet mask for the first time I saw at least three YouTube videos before I tried it on. But, there was no need to , nothing complicated, the mask was very easy to put on, it comes with a blue protective film which has to be removed . However it was very slippery and drenched in serum. As soon as I put it on it felt very cold. I rested my head and shut my eyes to enjoy the cooling effect the mask had . Honestly those 15 minutes were soooooooo relaxing. 15 minutes up, I took the mask off and it still had a lot of serum on it. This masks are non reusable so had to discard them :P.

No instant results other than super , clean and soft feeling skin. The mask was for normal to Dry skin which is my skin type. I decided to give it another go as it said (best results after three uses).

     2.    Pomegranate Extract- hydra bomb tissue mask :

This one is for dehydrated skin and promises for a fresh and dewy skin.  First impressions this one has so much more serum than the previous one. Assuming because it is for dehydrated skin. After I put it on for 15 minutes and taking it odd I definitely felt more hydrated .  Compared to the tea tree one this worked better for me. I used the remaining serum on my hands and neck. After taking the mask off massage the serum and let it dry .

The masks don’t do WONDERS to our skin but definitely hydrate your skin A LOT. Especially for a girl like me who isn’t great at skincare these masks are a 15 minute solution.

VERDICT : B U Y

PRICE : The retail for 0.800 K.D each.

Until next time
