Wassup Kyfam !!
I am finally done with my tests and as promised here is  today's post.

In this post I’ll be showing you a few different ways with one of my most loved wardrobe items ‘The Tunic Top’ . Tunics are a great piece to have in your wardrobe for so many reasons they are flattering for most body types , comfortable and highly versatile . You can style them throughout the year for different occasions and seasons and get the most wear out of them . As I am a Hijabi tunics are my ultimate favorites as they are not figure hugging and don’t feel bulky .

I took a basic white tunic for this post as every possible color  pairs well with it . WHITE+TUNIC = LETHAL !!!

BASICS : Monochrome why not ? Pair your tunic with the basics and some flats for a classic look . Add it up with a sling bag and arm candies and you are good to go .

Tunic : Max ,  Pant and Hijab : Riva Kuwait , Flats : Valentino studded flats

You can always change the color to look event appropriate .  I love changing the color of my pant and hijab to give a varied look to my assemble .

     ·  Office : For an office look go monochrome . There is nothing that screams formal and classy than black and white.

Tunic : Max ,  Pant and Hijab : Riva Kuwait , Flats : Valentino
Watch : Alba , Ring : Aldo accessories

     ·    Casual : For a casual look pair your tunic with denim . My favorite is the lighter shade , you can always layer this with a denim jacket or just tie it around the waist .

Tunic : Max ,  Pant and Hijab : Reliance Trends , Flats : Valentino studded flats

     ·    Formally Casual : I have a new found love for the color ‘tan/beige’ . It looks   great with most colors and gives a very pleasant look .

Tunic : Max ,  Pant and Hijab : Riva Kuwait , Flats : Valentino studded flats
Watch : Alba , Ring : Aldo accessories

LAYER  :  Layering is key , always ! You can always up your game by layering , here I put on a vase coat to add more structure to my silhouette . A long cardigan or a sleeved jacket will go on well too .

Tunic : Max , Vase Coat : Melange , Pant and Hijab : Riva Kuwait
Shoes : Valentino studded flats

DRESS IT UP : If you are heading out but want to look a little dressy belt it up . A rope belt around your tunic gives a chic look . If your tunic is a little bigger in size you can cinch it up by adding a belt and turn it into a dress .

Tunic : Max , Belt : Payless , Pant and Hijab : Riva Kuwait
Shoes : Valentino studded flats

Hope you guys find this useful and never run out of clothes to wear :P Make the most of what you have .

 Until next time

Hello Kyfam !

I was in an artsy mood over the weekend and did some makeup storage DIY , I also did a DIY on wall decor if you want to check that out click here. So, this DIY is solving both my biggest makeup storage problems first being eye shadow palette and second being brushes . Currently my eye shadow palettes are stored away in a  drawer because they are big and bulky but, I wanted them to be more accessible so that I can use them frequently instead of letting cobwebs settle over them .  About my brushes I wanted them to be more organised and keeping minimal brushes and other stuff in reach so that I can quickly grab what I need .

This one is so easy to make and looks so pretty on your dresser . Let’s get started !

Step 1:  You’ll need two cereal boxes or any boxes of apt size . One should be a couple of inches bigger than the other . Cut one side of the box so as to create an opening  .

Step 2 : Cover the boxes with your choice of craft paper / wrapping paper , anything that is in combination with your room decor . I went with a print and a plain color . Adhere the ends with tape/glue  and stick the small box onto the larger one like so .

Step 3 :  Once that is done take some craft paper and roll it up into tubes to fit into your smaller box . This will act as a holder for your brushes . You can use toilet paper rolls if you have them or cardboard would do too .

Step 4 : Once you have placed the rolls into your smaller box  you are done : )

I used the larger box to store my eye shadow palettes and the smaller one to store my brushes , mascara and lipsticks that I frequently use . This DIY made it really easy for me to quickly grab the stuff I need and everything is kept at one place .

If you liked this DIY make sure you hit the follow button  and if you make one alike tag me on your instagram with @kyriasabah  .

Until next time

Hello Kyfam !

I find nothing more disappointing and disastrous than spending an hour on perfecting your makeup , leaving the house feeling like a million bucks and then post few hours looking like a freshly baked cake !
We all have faced this and have tried numerous ways to tackle this by continuously touching up and stuff . Here are 5 ways to look smear proof throughout a sunny summer day .

     1.      Base :  Sunscreen is a must for summer days but , it gives a greasy look and is uncomfortable on the skin, sometimes it might leave white residues . To avoid that mix a tinted moisturizer/concealer/foundation with your sunscreen and then apply it on your face .
However some foundations may have included spf protection it is still recommended to mix some sunscreen , doing this will give the sun block a longer life .

     2.    Eyes : If you are heading to a party and need some eye shadow always always use a primer  ! This prevents the colors to mix and stay put all day long. If you are going to use an eyeliner opt for a waterproof one , if you don’t have one pat some black eye shadow over the liner this way it stays put longer .

     3.    Lips : I recommend having  lip balm on your lips all the time as it avoids chapped lips . If you are a lipstick girl go for bright colors . Bright shades like pinks and reds look great on a bright summer day .
Run a concealer outlining your lips , this prevents the lipstick from smudging and defines your lips better .

     4.    Eyebrows and cheeks : Use a spoolie or a mascara brush to tame your eyebrows , this gives them a uniform look and fills them slightly simultaneously .
For the cheeks switch your cream blush for a powder one . The creamy texture tends to crease . Go for hued shades and use a bronzer and a highlighter for a great sun kissed look .

      5.     Touch up : Finish your entire look by spraying on a setting spray or patting some loose powder . This holds on your makeup for longer and mattifies the entire look .

This summer look picture perfect with these hacks . Girls remember less is more : )

 Until next time

Self confidence is an issue that is widely ignored by most people as it is either regarded as “attention seeking” or “humility” . But , there is a big difference trust me .

Low self confidence and self esteem cause a lot of problems specially for the teenagers as they are just developing and are naive and don’t know who to talk to . Leading them into depression , becoming shy and leaves them feeling incompetent . The media plays an important role in how we portray ourselves . There is a certain idea of perfection and we all try to squeeze into it .  I did too and had a hard time trying .

Many people would class me as someone who is very comfortable with herself , outspoken , weird as well as a freak . But ,all that’s a big act , in fact I think I deserve an Oscar . I’ve struggled with my self confidence from a tender age of 11. I was diagnosed with hypermetropia and was given a thick frame of circular glasses with a string attached . As soon as the school reopened the comments poured in , people mocked me and called me names . I hated going to school I felt like I didn’t fit in I never did  .

Slowly I overcame that phase and entered my teens , the age where every body gets appearance cautious and social media had kicked in giving birth to people wanting to look/dress a certain way , I struggled with that too . While they  posted pictures with wide perfect smiles  , all my pictures turned out to  hideous WHY ? because of course I was blessed with the worst dental structure ( Bunny teeth , extra canines , disoriented teeth and what not ) . I strived a lot with figuring out how to smile , whenever the group laughed I covered my mouth trying to mask my teeth . This went on forever .

Until one day when I came across a picture of me laughing and it was taken from the right , and I was surprisingly in love with how it looked  . That day I realized it was all about discovering the right angle and slowly but eventually I did . By the time I turned 18   I had discovered my style and a good angle . But , this was all about seeking validation and I had to get over it .

Slowly I came out of that shell and started accepting my flaws . I realized they made me , they were a part of my personality and were a part of my uniqueness . I admitted my insecurities to myself , to others , learnt to laugh at myself , and found happiness and fulfillment regardless of my insecurities .I comprehended that confidence is a process and a work in progress not a permanent state of being I stopped trying to look like others because I obviously was genetically different and a $6 powder wouldn't help . Every day I work towards embracing myself .

For those who know me personally y’all know I laugh like a seal ! XP

Love yourself !

 Until next time

Hey Kyfam !
It’s long since I posted a travel blog , to see the previous one click here.
This one is all about my 7 day trip to Europe . Obviously I couldn’t cover the whole of Europe so I chose to visit Paris , Switzerland thoroughly and a hint of Germany . It was the most fun and energy packed vacation ! we were always on the go and  agile . All of us legit shed 2-3 kg’s by the time we returned . Here is a glimpse into my trip to Europe or in other words Le tour de’ Europe .

Day 1 :
Travelled to Paris via Turkey , landed by noon and reached our hotel in Gare de lyon . This place was closest  to Disneyland so we picked this location to stay .

Disney land Paris is a massive theme park and needs a whole day to itself .The day we visited it was celebrating it’s 20th anniversary so it was extra pretty and decorated .  It has two worlds dedicated to Hollywood and Pixar themed rides.

My favorite was the stunt show where they showed us how car chases and stunts are done in Hollywood , the other was the Hollywood tower .

Day 2 :
Early up we went for a stroll to get some grocery and visited some local parks .  As the dawn approached we took a stroll towards Eiffel tower . As expected the tower looked beautiful , lit up and sparkling .  Just opposite to it is a cruise ride .

We took the cruise and saw a picturesque view . Paris looks absolutely breath taking at night and leaves you in complete awe .  The cruise covers the Louvre museum , Arc de Triomphe and many more sightseeing places.

Day 3 :

Took a train to Switzerland  early in the morning and I am so glad we took the morning rail , as the journey was a treat to the eyes . The widespread ice glades , pure white snow ,the snow capped mountains and the serenity .

We reached Interlaken West by noon and stayed at a home stay "Dr.templeman” . I recommend staying at home stays rather than lodges to have a better experience of living among the lushes of nature .

By dawn we strolled around discovering the neighborhood and came across this billboard . We booked our adventure for river rafting and canyoning  . Canyoning is hands down the best thing I’ve ever done in my life !  If you are a sucker for adventure sports this is a must .

Day 4 :
We rose with the sun and boarded a train to  mount Schilthorn . This is the largest mountain after Jungfrau .

We spent the entire day there and in it’s valley . The trip to the top was in a cable car and the view  was magical .

I never had an encounter with snow so obviously I was screaming with joy . Other than that we took a zillion pictures and enjoyed our time there .

By eve we visited the Rhine falls which is at the border of Germany and Switzerland .

Day 5 :

Train to Zürich . Visited the zoo and strolled in the evening and witnessed some very talented street artists .

Day 6 :

Back to Paris .  Visited a few museums  and took a stroll to Eiffel again because why not !  Spent the entire evening by the foot of Eiffel , did paragliding and packed up to leave .

Day 7 :

Back to Kuwait ! Tata Europe .

Until next time
