Valentine's day is round the corner and so is the rush to get something for your dates .

Nothing says ‘I Love You’ like a gift you made yourself . This Valentine’s take a break from candies and roses and get craftsy instead . Here are some last minute gift/date ideas I loved . The pictures are outsourced and the links to them will be just below the images .

1. Frame It : Put a few lovely words you would like to tell your loved one in a frame . This one is very last minute and an adornment to the room decor . Just look up for some love quotes , or frame some quotes yourself to add a personalized touch and gift it .

2. Message in a bottle : I find this extremely adorable !!! Pen down something you always wanted to say to your beloved and enclose it in a bottle . If you want to make this a little large scale , take a larger jar (mason jar) and fill it with reasons why you love him/her.

3. In the air: This is just so pleasant to look at and is an absolute win win . Get Helium balloons and tie down anything you want to it ( pictures of you both , scrolls with love letters , presents , flowers , chocolates , anything) . Decorate your bed , living room with it and it will leave your date in absolute awe .

4. Keep it ‘Light’ : When it’s too late to do anything that needs purchasing , reach out for some candles and host a dinner , picnic or some movie time . This way you will be spending some nice quality time with each other .
